pomkar diaphragm pump

Pomkar diaphragm pump

The pomkar diaphragm pump made in by Turkey pomkar company.

Diaphragm pumps work based on the diaphragm movement. They also have a one-way valve.

These pumps pull inward materials from the inlet by suction and moving backward of diaphragm. One-way valve closes the outlet. Then, valve acts reverse and push the material out by moving forward diaphragm. These pumps operate manually, electrically and pneumatically. Material of diaphragm pumps body are aluminum, steel, cast iron, PVDF, PTFE, PP, Acetal and material of diaphragm pumps are Teflon, Hytrol, Viton, Neoprene, Nitrile, Centropen.

Diaphragm pumps are usually manufactured in sizes 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, 1،1/2, 2, 3 inches. Of course, some manufacturers have also produced larger ones.

The flow rates of these pumps are at least 5 and up to 1000 liters per minute. Their working pressure is also a maximum of 7.8 times.

Application of diaphragm pumps in various industries:

Food & Pharmaceutical Industries: For pumping all kinds of sauces, pastes, chocolates, jams, acid, base, solvents, alcohol and …

Cosmetics: For pumping shampoo, soap and detergents

Paint industry: Pumping all kinds of paints, adhesives, inks, resins, solvents and …

Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Industries: Pumping of various types of oil, gas, acids such as: nitric acid, sulfuric acid, industrial oils from tanks

Water and Wastewater Industries: For sludge pumping, acid displacement

Ceramic & Tile Industries: For pumping glaze & slurry ceramic tile

How do Diaphragm Pumps Work?

In fact, the diaphragm pump (also known as the membrane pump) is a positive displacement pump that combines the operation of a rubber, thermoplastic or Teflon diaphragm and the appropriate valves on either side of the diaphragm (valve, butterfly, flap valve, or any Another type uses silent valves) for fluid pumps.

The diaphragm pump enables industry users to standardize on a typing pump that is suitable for a wide range of fluids. The only condition is air compression. The fluid used requires a gentle pumping operation and the diaphragm pump provides an efficient and low maintenance solution.
